His loving presence is all-inclusive. It recognizes no barriers, boundaries, race, color, or creed. God is good to all. Therefore, his “children” are also good to all. Children of God are sincere, wise, alert, gentle, and courageous. A loving presence is a mature presence. In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul aptly describes the essence of love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8  (Aramaic Peshitta Text)

"Love is patient and kind. Love does not envy. Love does not make a vain display of itself, and does not boast. Love does not behave itself unseemly, it seeks not its own, it is not easily provoked, and thinks no evil. Love rejoices not over iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never comes to an end."

A loving presence is a place where God is happening; that is, peace, joy, and harmony are manifesting. We cannot plan, calculate or personalize this kind of love. Love is transpersonal and it simply is! Calculative thinking cannot operate or function in the presence of love. God is Spirit. God is a living presence and not merely laws. Love, peace, joy, and harmony are the very essence and presence we call God. We are expressions and reflections of divine awareness that manifest this very presence. This is our metaphysical purpose in life.

We must not feel discouraged when we seem to manifest the opposite of truth. The manifestation of a “personal self’ is only a mistaken idea in our thinking. The more we realize the only true Self, the more the loving presence manifests. We are becoming what we are in reality! Life is a divine revelation. The words of John encourage us to continue our growth as children of God and as revelators of the divine presence:

1 John 3:1-3
See how abundant the love of the Father is toward us, for he has called us children and made us. My beloved, now we are the children of God and as yet it has not been revealed what we will be. But we know that when he will appear, we will be in his likeness. For we will see him as he is. Let everyone who has this hope in him purify himself, even as he is pure.

Why Study The Bible From Aramaic

images/bible640400
It is Educational.  It is more than just reading The Bible.  We study the Culture, the way of life, and the behavior of the Ancient Near Eastern People in addition to the literary styles of speaking and writing unique to the Ancient Near East.   Through comparative scripture and basic knowledge of Classical Aramaic Language, we identify some of the 12,000 differences that occur because of errors in translation.  Our studies are based upon the work of Dr. George M Lamsa, uniquely qualified as a Scholar and Man of God. View biography here.  We do not teach beliefs or doctrines.
 It is enlightening.
Through the study of Aramaic scripture there is  not only greater understanding, but spiritual insight as well.  This enlightenment can be life changing

It is enlivening.
The Gospels from Aramaic and  Jesus's mission, to establish the  Spiritual Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, enlivens us to practice the Teachings of Jesus.
